A Visit to Bermagui Sculpture by the Sea

I was at the wonderful exhibition at Bermagui last week. The setting beside the crashing sea was stimulating, but the variety of sculptures is inspiring.

The sculptures stretched from the surf lifesaving building along the fence towards the point up a slight hill.

I found Anne Anderson’s work. I apologise if I didn’t recognise any other ASV sculptors. Carmel Ritchie

The photos are: “Treaty is an anticipatory piece recognising that though sovereignty never ceded, there is great hope throughout our nation that it one day will be.”

“ The Transformation. The other side of darkness you see, you could actually discover a beauty you have never known.”

‘The Trees Remember” by Wil Edwards Franchimon
