Call for Artists – “Expression of Interest” Trafalgar Recreation Reserve Trafalgar Multi Use Pavilion Public Art Installation The artwork will have a functional purpose as a screen to the western end of the building but will also be important as a landmark and place maker. The work will be metal, and dimensions are approximately 2.4m high by 4.3m long. Contemporary Art Society The Australian National Brooch Show 2021.
Come and see our showcase of over 200 beautiful pieces of contemporary wearable art - showing in Fitzroy (see more info below) at the opening “TRY & BUY”event on Saturday 8 MAY: 11am – 1pm.
Our exhibition features a large range of art-brooches created by artists from across Australia. This year our event celebrates its 13th Anniversary!

First venue: Fitzroy: showing 8 May - 1 August 2021 OPENING “Try & Buy”: Saturday 8 May, 11am - 1pm, at the Fitzroy Library, 128 Moor St, Fitzroy, Victoria
Second venue: Eltham: showing 6 August - 28 October 2021

• Please join us for refreshments and a close-up view of all brooches!
At our special “Try & Buy” event you have the opportunity to try on and buy a brooch; we have mirrors for you to see how they look on you! We will have credit card facilities present on the day, and you can also pay by cash - but only on the Try & Buy day. Purchasers may take their brooches home on the day! As a special bonus, well give you a gift bag to put your brooch purchase in!

If you are interested in PURCHASING any of the brooches throughout the exhibition, just phone our Secretary, on (03) 9428 0568 or 0407 059 194 during weekday office hours and leave your phone contact details and our Treasurer will contact you. Please quote the catalogue number, title, and price when phoning. We accept Visa or MasterCard, and our Treasurer is able to process your credit card over the phone, or alternatively, can issue you with an email-invoice for your prompt payment. All brooches purchased after the Try & Buy date in Fitzroy are to remain on show until the 1 August, and can be collected by arrangement only after this date.
