“Art on the Hill” Sculptures, Paintings & Blacksmithing Exhibition

Hi Fellow Artists,

This is a call for entries for the “Art on The Hill” exhibition.

The exhibition will be held at the Historic Mont De Lancey Homestead Gallery (https://www.montdelancey.org.au/), located at 71 Wellington Road, Wandin North, from the 7th to the 8th of August from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Up to 2 sculptures and another artwork (painting/print/photograph) or two artworks (painting/print/photograph) and a sculpture can be accepted. There is a $20.00 charge per entry but there is no commission on sales. Both indoor and outdoor sculptures will be considered. Outdoor sculptures must be able to be manually installed as we have no vehicle or forklift access to the area.

The success of the exhibition will be dependent on how well we use our social media to draw in a crowd. I have attached a promotional flyer and a list of hash tags.

There is a café/restaurant on site called Two Peas in Their Pod (https://www.facebook.com/twopeasintheirpod/) who serve great food and drinks and have an excellent following. They will also be using their social media to promote the event.

The title for the event is “Art on The Hill” Sculptures, Paintings and working Blacksmiths.

Sculptors will need to provide plinths and labels with the following information:

1. Title of Sculpture/Painting

The labels will be attached to the underside of the sculptures and to the back of the artworks.
