Some members will remember Herring Island as their first approach to the ASV - coming along to see what the organisation had to offer a practising sculptor.
In previous newsletters we surveyed members on the format for the 2021 exhibition - given that this will be our first physical exhibition in a year. The result: the 2021 exhibition will be a hybrid physical and online exhibition with all the Internet capabilities that we had for MIFGS Online 2020 plus an awesome real show.
Then we hit a glitch - the email to members with the details of the entry form and information seems not to have reached all the members.... Our social media team swung into action publicising the closing date... Marks for enthusiasm! The net result is that we currently have 38 works in the show - so a few late entries can be accommodated... On a first in best dressed basis. I’ll stop at 45 sculptures.

And you can check out previous editions of the newsletter http://sculperenewsletter.blogspot.com/ to get some idea of the fun we have putting
on a show “in normal years”. 2021 will of course be a COVID Normal year so stand by for the differences and for how we can innovate to reach our audience and share the sculpture experience.
