Call for Proposals

Applications are now open to submit proposals for Rookwood General Cemetery's 

HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures 2021.

Join Australian and international artists for the opportunity to showcase your work in the largest and oldest active cemetery in the southern hemisphere.

All works selected for exhibition receive honorariums and are eligible for awards with a prize pool value of over $30,000. Additional support is available for works travelling over 200km to the exhibition.

Submit your proposals by 9 April 2021.

Flora is an exhibition that will take place from 25 March – 1 May across the City of Greater Dandenong, in various locations. Flora will explore and capture the importance, fragility and beauty of plants and nature. As part of the exhibition, we are putting an open call-out for people to submit artworks within the theme of flora to be exhibited at Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens as part of the exhibition.
