Dates for Your Diary

  • 13 May monthly meeting at the Ashburton Baptist Church Meeting Rooms a talk from Brian Mc Loghlin of CMP stone www.cmpstone.com.au. We hope that members will bring in their work in stone and exchange views on techniques and tools - it should be a great night for carvers - and for the rest of us to learn.
  • 10 June ceramic glazes - show and tell. Many members asked Elnaz Nourizadeh about her glaze technique so we’ll invite her to talk and swap notes at the June meeting
  • 8 July - a stretch ahead - but another show and tell - this time the topic of sculptors’ websites - either build your own or get one made and what does the profile page on the ASV site do for you? We will have a web designer on hand. Fred Fair will give a talk entitled Building an Artist’s Website. Fred is the webmaster for the Contemporary Art Society.
