Jon Eiseman

Hello Sculptors,

Last year, we held a meeting with Jon Eiseman who explored and discussed his art. Now, we are invited to his exhibition in the Nicholas Building running from 26th April to 30th May. We can meet at the opening on 29th April

"For more than three decades, Jon Eiseman has developed a complex private mythology, centered on a search for meaning in the borderland between rationality and the subconscious. Masterfully cast in bronze, solitary figures embark on strange voyages through liminal landscapes, as if distilled directly from a dream, or on the inner undulations of the subconscious.

In his latest exhibition Eisemen presents a series of dreamscapes in bronze, each exploring the human psyche with all its frailty, desires and longing for spiritual connection.
Please join us and the artist on Saturday 29th April from 1pm to 3pm to celebrate the launch of this solo exhibition.’ More information here https://www.flg.com.au/exhibition/exploring-labyrinth Please note that we are requested to RSVP if we are attending the opening

Regards, Jenny Rickards

Images of Chris Anderson burning his magnificent eagle in support of the Glenaroua CFA Art Show, taken by Anne Anderson. She almost cried when she saw it burn. Chris lives in Glenaroua and is a very community minded man.
