The Annual & Awards Exhibition and our Future Program

We have a full program for the second half of 2021 - everyone will be working hard to enable it to go ahead:

Planning for our Annual & Awards Exhibition was going so well.  We had delivery planned and we were dealing with the challenges our new venue offered - as well as the opportunities for a long term relationship.

Then came a Covid19 lockdown - So we postponed. A lot of our commitments have been put off until October when we have Take Two scheduled.

We’d already invested in publicity and had everything set up  for the online aspect of a real life show so we produced the exhibition online only. Sculptors produced their own amazing images - we did our best with social media plus Art Almanac gave us an additional digital ad in a generous show of support.

We offered the People’s Choice Award to encourage people to look at the exhibition with all other awards postponed to October.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award is Peter Luckock’s “Future” (113 votes), runner up Lucinda Brash’s “Landing” (25 votes).

The randomly selected voter’s prize has been selected.

The exhibition can now be viewed on our exhibitions records page: https://sculptorsvictoria.asn.au/exhibitions/view_exhibition/2021-annual-awards-exhibition

There were no sales in the online exhibition. We have run three online shows now. The Herring Island hybrid show being the most successful in terms of supporting sales and in interaction using the QR code assigned to each exhibit.

Entry forms and details for AAE 2021 Take Two will be available soon.
