Vandalism of work by Alan Aston beside Lake George
A life sized sculpture of a herd of Zebras situated on the fringe of Lake George by sculptor, Alan Aston was badly vandalised last July. The sculptor had to remove the sculpture for repairs. Ears, a tail and a head were removed from one of the Zebras; another Zebra was dragged metres from its original position. The sculptor has yet to decide whether to reinstall the work once it has been repaired.
