SCULPTURES IN THE GARDEN 2023 ENTRY FORM
Calling all artists. Would you like the opportunity to showcase your work among peers in regional NSW’s largest and most renowned outdoor sculpture exhibition? Wouldn't it be nice to be in the running to win prize money for your sculpture up to the value of $30,000? Better still, imagine if your artwork joined the ranks of previous SIG winners, permanently displayed for public enjoyment in Mudgee and its surrounds for generations to come?

BAYSIDE SCULPTURE
Hi Everyone,
It is hard to believe that we are near to finishing up at Bayside Sculpture, with the last classes next week.
It has been 19 wonderful years in Advantage Road. I am attaching an email copy of the invitation to our final exhibition so that you can distribute it to your family and friends.

Lyon House Museum
One of our visual artists, Penny Byrne, is giving an artist talk on Saturday 1 July at 3pm on her creative processes and unique challenges encountered while producing her large-scale bronze sculpture Felled, 2014. This is a remarkable sculpture, weighing over 300kg, and Penny has some impressive imagery and stories to share about the production journey.
Penny's work is currently on display in our exhibition Lyon Collection Exh. #6, with other sculptural works by Emily Floyd, Patricia Piccinini and Constanze Zikos.
Feel free to circulate the event link amongst your members https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/639958732797

The Duldig Studio runs an exciting program of events.
We are holding a seminar on Saturday 24 June looking at contemporary sculptors and ceramicists including Renee So, Nina Sanadze and the work of Karl Duldig. There are still some places left.
Additionally, we are holding adult sculpture workshops on the second Sunday of every month. The link to our activities is below. We also give tours – we would love to invite Sculptors Victoria to visit us.

SUPPORT NEEDED - Montsalvat
Thank you for supporting our wonderful jazz musicians and our fundraising for Lil’s Cottage. With your support to date, we have raised over $22,000. With the funds raised and support of volunteers like Board member Lynda Jorgensen and her sister Kerrie assisting artisan Jean-Paul Zilliacus with the rendering, we will now be able to complete all external repairs including replacement of wooden shutters and internal maintenance and painting.
As the end of the Financial Year approaches, we are commencing a fundraising campaign to help complete urgent repairs and restoration works to the Great Hall. Located at the heart of Montsalvat, the Great Hall has been home to decades of communal meals, lectures, debates, exhibitions and community events. It is testimony to the principles of creativity, innovation and sustainability that characterise Montsalvat to this day.
As you will be aware Montsalvat is a not-for-profit heritage property and arts organisation open to the community. However, you may not be aware that Montsalvat has no ongoing support from the Government.
The Montsalvat Team invites you to consider contributing to this appeal. All proceeds from the 2023 EOFY campaign will go to the restoration and access work in the Great Hall and donations will be matched up to a total of $20,000. Your contribution will help us to keep the Great Hall open for all.
