Dates for Your Diary

Catching up with fellow sculptors! Lockdowns meant that we got out of the habit of catching up with each other and talking about forms and materials, tools, techniques and philosophy. On the other hand we discovered that online meetings mean we talk with with regional sculptors without travelling on cold wet windy wintry nights to catch up with colleagues.

  • On Wednesday 21st June we met online to talk over the Annual Exhibition. It was a small but stimulating discussion - so now we'll try meeting on a different evening to see if it suits more of you
  • On Tuesday 11th July at 7:30pm we will meet online again. A link for Google Meet will be sent a few days before the meeting - and since I am holding the ASV speaker mic I may be able to host a few locals for a fireside participation.
  • Thursday 3rd August there will be an online committee meeting
  • Wednesday 9th August: the evening will see us meeting in real life with a "Show and Tell" at Gillian Govan's home - always hospitable and a great time can be expected.
