Association of Sculptors of Victoria (ASV)
Sculpere Newsletter
February 2022
Dear Members, The Association’s exhibition at the Herring Island Summer Festival was successfully concluded. Jenny Rickards did a great job of coordinating under these trying times. Thank you to all who participated….sculptors, volunteers and visitors! MIFGS is fast approaching, so don’t forget to put in your entries. Also, we are in need of members to demonstrate their talents at the show. Please contact Paul Cacioli if you are willing to spare an hour on one or more of the days during the show to run a demonstration or workshop. The Committee is working on updating our vision statement to make it more relevant to our current environment and streamline the list of existing and planned services we provide to members. We are actively working on modernising our website and the functions it can perform, particularly the members’ area. The social media group have and continue to do a great job promoting our Association and the events we are involved with. We have some exciting visits to artist’s studios coming up and we would welcome suggestions for other visits or activities that we could then offer to our members. Looking forward to working with you in improving the Associations image and activities. Best wishes Paul Cacioli Team Leader, Presidents Team. |
