As Gillian has said we are going to get together via Zoom for our August meeting. So:
• Keep 7:30pm Wednesday 12th August clear
• BYO nibbles and drinks and some work to talk about
• A day or so before the meeting I’ll send out the "reminder" email which will have the link for you to join the meeting.
• You may like to download the Zoom app to your computer or phone in advance - and make sure you can speak and hear as well as be seen... all the necessary hardware.
• John Bishop will be hosting the meeting and he will have the “waiting room” open twenty minutes in advance of the meeting to allow anyone having trouble to let us know. Jenny Rickards will assist by phone if needed since John will be managing the waiting room and letting people into the meeting. Link and phone number will be in the reminder email... Which will go out around 10th August.
Assuming this meeting gives everyone an opportunity to “attend” we’ll hold the AGM as a virtual/real space hybrid... A real 21st Century solution to pandemic - and distance.

Gippsland Exhibition
Gavin Roberts is offering to organise an exhibition down his way. He is very keen as long as we get interest from our members.
He has already made contact with a couple of people - will get back to us next week with ideas This would be an exhibition with the work physically present so there is a bit of planning to do. Do let is know if you would participate.

Do you have any documents pertaining to the history of the ASV? For example: old minutes, letters, interesting documents about your practice. Long term members must have things tucked away that they want to get rid of. Please contact me on 0412 122 884. We want to store our history in a safe place.
