Our ASV society runs on volunteers. Therefore, when the need arises an urgent request is put out to the wonderful, creative artists in this group. Please help with social media. It’s not as formidable a task that it sounds. As Gillian wrote: Art lovers won’t come to the exhibition if they don’t know it is on. “ Social media support request…We are all excited for our annual and awards exhibition in the Victorian artists society this year- I am sure. To get as many visitors as we can- we need publicity. Social media is a fantastic way to promote our work, our exhibitions and get the news out to Art lovers out there. This year we are running into a small problem; I am away during the annual.
This is not a huge problem, as we are using a post planning program (anyone who loves alliteration should have their interest piqued by now ) - which makes posting of photos, texts, links and # , a piece of cake.
In the next week(s) I am creating enough posts for almost the complete exhibition.Almost- as I will be leaving before set up- I am relying on entry photos (they’d better be good :-) ) but won’t have access to photos of the exhibition as it is, or prize winner details.
So-THE ASV NEEDS YOU!!
We need someone with a computer, who doesn’t mind writing, to do a few posts during the AAAE - using a super easy program.
All you have to do is upload a few photos, write a bit, use the # and info I have gathered- and plan a few posts.
Estimated time investment; 1-2 hours, a bit more if you are not computer savvy.
It really is pretty easy- as most of the work will have been done.
But I can’t do it, as I am enjoying some time off with family and friends, in a completely different time zone :-)
Please contact me asap- and I'll send you all details, and instructions on how to access and use the program !
Cheers, - have fun, Aukje “pigandchisel@vanvark.com.au / 0447320031
ALSO: would anyone be interested in being part of a group to organise an exhibition of sculpture in the wonderful Tesselaar Park during their tulip festival ?
