MIFGS and ART DEMONSTRATIONS

SCULPTORS’ DEMONSTRATING THEIR ART MAKING

Photos by Carmel Ritchie taken on Wednesday morning

while she was supervising the exhibition.

Jenny Whiteside demonstrating limestone carving to

curious onlookers.

Gavin demonstrating wood carving to an eager class.

Alkje stunned viewers with her clever clay work.

Demonstrations make a difference!

Thank you to all the artists who took time out to share with the public and show the extraordinary work we do!

Viewers love this, and it creates a certain energy in an exhibition and generates great conversation. This is how we engage the public.
