Contemporary Art Society Call for Entries  The Australian National Brooch Show 2021.

For 2021, we are able to offer FREE entry (as we received modest funding).

Artists are invited to submit up to 5 brooches (small wearable artworks) for exhibition. This year's exhibition will be on from 8 May to 1 August in Fitzroy, then tour to Eltham, showing 8 August to 28 October. That is five and a half months on show! EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Mother Language Public Art Commissioning CONTRACT NO. N400082

Wyndham City Council (the Council) invites Victorian based creative and innovative artists/consortia to submit their qualifications to be considered for the Mother Language Public Art Project. This opportunity is for a large-scale stand-alone sculpture celebrating and acknowledging the importance of mother language in the Wyndham community, to be developed collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholder engagement. The artwork is envisaged to assist with creating  a sense of place and cultivate community pride and identity.

The site footprint is located in Tarneit  at a newly completed Council facility.  

Artists from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The Expression of Interest will be  a two staged process.  

Stage 1 – this Expression of Interest stage which outlines the general scope of the services required via a pre-qualification process; with 

Stage 2 – Private (Select) Request for Tender process including the requirement for a preliminary concept proposal.

Call for Proposals

Applications are now open to submit proposals for Rookwood General Cemetery's HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures 2021.

Join Australian and international artists for the opportunity to showcase your work in the largest and oldest active cemetery in the southern hemisphere.

 All works selected for exhibition receive honorariums and are eligible for awards with a prize pool value of over $30,000. Additional support is available for works travelling over 200km to the exhibition.

Call for Artists – “Expression of Interest” Trafalgar Recreation Reserve Trafalgar Multi Use Pavilion Public Art Installation The artwork will have a functional purpose as a screen to the western end of the building but will also be important as a landmark and place maker. The work will be metal, and dimensions are approximately 2.4m high by 4.3m long.
