Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival
The Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival Committee is very pleased to announce the dates for 2020. The Festival will run from 17th October to the 1st November. The 16 day festival will run over three weekends with a preview night on 16th October and the official opening night on the 17th.

Sculptures in the Garden, one of Australia’s most renowned regional sculpture exhibitions, is now accepting artist's submissions. Due to be held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October, our milestone 10th anniversary event is expected to be the biggest yet.
This outdoor exhibition provides artists an opportunity to exhibit their works and showcase them alongside local, regional, metropolitan and interstate artists, while also being in the running for a number of the acquisition and non acquisition prizes.
Total prize value for 2020 is over $43,000, including the following:
• Top prize of $25,000 for the Sculptures in the Garden and Mid-Western Regional Council’s acquisition prize
• $10,000 Friends of Sculptures in the Garden acquisition prize
• $5,000 Moolarben acquisition prize
• $2,500 Artistic Merit Prize for Small Sculpture
• $500 People’s Choice Award
• $300 The Sculptor’s Society Sensory Sculpture prize
All works that are acquired will be showcased in the Mid-Western Regional Council’s public art collection, and displayed within the Lawson Sculpture Park.
Over 3,500 visitors are expected to visit Sculptures in the Garden 2020
In 2019, over 50% of works from the exhibition were sold
Over $20,000 was raised for the local branch of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT
2019 was the biggest collection of works exhibited in the history of Sculptures in the Garden
