This years prizes gave grown to a total value of $10,000 & we are lucky to once again have the support of MERIDIAN Sculpture who will give a $2,500 bronze casting award again. The Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery in conjunction with the South Burnett Regional Council is again holding a $10,000 Sculpture Prize to support the long term strategy for public art in Kingaroy streets and parks.

The prize includes an Open Award of $7,000 and a Local South Burnett Award of $2,000. Both awards are acquisitive, and there is an Encouragement Award of $1,000. Judging will take place in April next year with winning and short-listed entries all displayed at the Kingaroy Gallery precinct.

Shellharbour City Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from artists interested in developing a sculptural public artwork to create a dynamic Shellharbour Village Town Centre.

This opportunity is for a public art commission to create a vibrant personality for Shellharbour Village. The work will sit on the roof of the Shellharbour Village Exhibition Space and will welcome the community and visitors to Shellharbour’s exhibition venue and tourist information office.
