Dear Sculptors Victoria Team,
We have opened artist applications for the unique outdoor ephemeral sculpture exhibition at Gasworks Arts Park, From Nature. We think that the Sculptors Victoria network may be particularly interested in participating in this 9 day art event.

From Nature is a showcase of organic sculpture which will take place at Gasworks Arts Park across nine days in November 2018. From Nature offers audiences a distinctive and unique arts experience which displays organic ‘living’ public art in an accessible outdoor, daytime setting. We invite applications from artists, students, creative individuals and groups to exhibit in the 2018 instalment of From Nature.

The information and application pack can be viewed on our website at http://www.gasworks.org.au/event/from-nature-exhibition-2018/

From Nature has expanded in 2018, we are able to accommodate up to 40 sculptures and offer a total prize pool of $8,000. There are also a limited number of $350 Materials Stipends available.

Applications are open now and close 23 September.

The exhibition will run from 3-11 November 2018

Would you be able to share this call for applications in your next newsletter or on Social Media to help us spread the word?

Thanks, Alison McIntosh-Deszcz
