From the President

 Hi all,

In the background of the ASV the wheels are turning. Not grinding…. Really turning. Our recent committee meeting revealed that we have several new members. Welcome to you all. We are in a comfortable position financially. The Herring Island exhibition was a great success and enjoyable. Entries have flowed in for the International Flower and Garden Show and the publicity machine is about to get into gear.

Our Annual Exhibition dates have been secured once again at 600 Bourke Place and the exhibition will be driven by Yvonne Monik and her team.

There are activities being planned including visits to studios, gallery tours and speakers. There are also plenty of new opportunities being explored. All will be brought to you in your monthly newsletters.

It is all happening thanks to the volunteer members who are working hard to keep the cogs in the wheels of the Association moving.

If you can do anything to help to steer us through the year we would be glad to hear from you.

In the meantime I look forward to seeing you at the garden show whether you have entered or not. It is always a great chance to talk with other sculptors and interested visitors.

Happy Sculpting

Gillian
