President's Letter for March 2014

Hi All,


What a success! The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show Sculpture Exhibition was brilliant yet again due to the hard work and commitment of Mark Cowie. I am sure all the exhibiting sculptors join me in expressing our appreciation. Congratulations to all participating sculptors especially to those who won prizes and sold works. Well done.

At the moment the committee is going through a very difficult process of deciding whether to spend a considerable sum on the ASV website. I understand that there are many varying opinions about the purpose of the site and all members have varying degrees of understanding and perception of its application. We don’t want to make major decision such as this without being absolutely transparent so we are asking you to come to the next meeting to listen to our proposal, ask questions and have your say.
