President's Letter for February 2014

Hi All,

I hope this note finds you all well and enjoying sculpture time. It is so hard to juggle our lives to find time to be creative, but I hope you are on track with work for the International Flower and Garden Show and then our Annual exhibition in August.

Time has run away from me so I have not organised a speaker for our March meeting but as the show and tell evenings are always enjoyable and popular we will meet at the usual place. It is a good opportunity to talk about your work, share some tips and meet new members. It also gives new members the chance to me other sculptors. Our get together at Andrew Bryant’s workshop was an opportunity to do all of that. Thanks Andrew we had a great day and many of us enjoyed a visit to Montalto Sculpture Park and Winery afterwards.

If anyone has any ideas for get togethers or places we can visit as a group I would be glad to hear about them.

For members who have not paid their annual fees (well over due) this will be your last news letter. If you have any doubt about the status of you membership and if you want to keep in touch and enjoy exhibiting in all our exhibitions please contact our treasurer John Ride as soon as possible. We don’t want to lose members you all have much to contribute.

Gillian Govan President
