Future Meetings

Coming up in May

Gillian has confirmed with Ben Fasham that we can take a small group to the factory. I think the earlier the better as they have a big piece that they are moving to Canberra the second week. Due to OH&S safety issues we are unable to visit Fashams in Clayton during our usual evening meeting time but we could make up a small party during the day.
I know many members were interested in this visit so If anyone is interested please contact Gillian 0412 122 884 or gmps.govan@bigpond.com.

In May you have two opportunities - the day time visit to Fasham’s and the monthly meeting this time to be hosted by Rudi Jass at his studio unit 6, 31 Hosie Street, Bayswater. Save Wednesday 9th May and be there by 7:30pm. Read more about Rudi and his work at http://www.jassdesign.com.au. There is a security gate to the studio complex - if this is locked when you arrive please call Rudi on 0412 330 203 and he will let you in.

For the June meeting we’ll have a talk from Benjamin Gilbert whose web site is: http://agencyofsculpture.com/. We aren’t sure of the location, the date is probably going to be 13th June. So keep in touch through the newsletter.

In July there are plans afoot to have a gathering of former members - a reunion if you will. A good time to catch up with old friends (and new).

August should see us talking to one of the members about their work. Stand by for more information.
