Supporting Wildlife through the “Victoria Sculpture Prize”

ASV teams up with Wildlife Victoria and CARE (Concerned Artists Resisting Extinction) as we encourage artists to enter up to 5 works and price their work to sell this November to support at threat and endangered wildlife. 5% of all sales from the Victoria Sculpture Prize is being donated to Wildlife Victoria and it’s a great cause.

With over 2,000 visitors expected per day and partnering with the Archibald Prize this is a great opportunity to sell your works or win one of the great prizes on offer. The Gippsland "CARE" group have kindly funded a $1000 NON acquisitive prize for "Best endangered wildlife" adding to the $5k Gippsland Gallery acquisitive small wildlife prize this is a great opportunity for artists making smaller works. The Wellington Shire $20k Acquisitive public work prize is NON themed and all artists are encouraged to enter a large public work.  Wildlife Victoria has provided Victoria with a Wildlife Emergency Response service for 30 years and every year thousands of native animals in Victoria become sick, injured or orphaned, often as a direct result of human activity.  Wildlife Emergency Response services receive about 80,000 requests for help each year and help over 50,000 animals. Wildlife Victoria and CARE advocate for at risk and endangered wildlife and your support goes a long way to helping them continue their work.

Thank you and we hope to see you at the “Port of Sale” this November.
