The May Meeting-Workshop

The May Meeting was a workshop expertly run by Andrew Bryant. A lot of us missed out for one reason or another - we have to hope that Andrew can be persuaded to repeat the exercise in the future.

(image left) Suitably helmeted, from left, Andy Smith, Julia Goodwin, Graham Duell and Rod Sanders paying close attention to Andrew Bryant at his studio work shed on Sunday May 15th. Also present were Yvonne Monik and Gordon Robertson.

Andrew was generous with his time and welding advice at his family’s property at Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula. Each visitor was given a hands on TIG welding trial, with personal advice from Andrew, followed by a demonstration of Plasma cutting and then were treated to home made cakes and a barbecue.

(image right) Personal instruction from Andrew for Yvonne Monik who has already has some welding experience - yes Andrew does master classes.
