We cooperate as an association to advance the practice of sculpture and the reputation and appreciation of sculpture and sculptors in the community. This is regardless of whether or not we make a living from sculpture and regardless of our preferred style or medium. To this end we support artists’ moral rights, we advocate a professional attitude to the production and presentation of work and encourage the artistic and intellectual stimulation of interaction amongst artists of all persuasions.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY
Message from Tim: "Did someone mention a Christmas Party? It's early this year. Come over to our house!
We are on about 7 acres backing onto Diamond Creek. There is an old tennis court with an attached club house which is air-conditioned. It has a kitchenette, beer fridge, toilets, stereo, tables, chairs, couches. There is a B BQ luking in the wings. BYO. Kids are welcome as there is all manner of sports gear eg monkey bars, swing and slide, and a couple of trampolines. The asphalt tennis court surface is ideal for scooters, bikes etc. These are provided plus to billy carts on site. (Remember this is for the children).
For the less energetic there are mature shade trees, an ample supply of gluten free beer (BYO wine and soft drink) and a great big shed in which to play. We are 10 mins from end of Metro Ring Rd and about 1.5 kms from both Wattle Glen and Hurstbridge Railway Stations. A pleasant stroll or we can pick you up. Sunday 15th November lunchtime onwards..If anyone would like a lift please contact Gillian on 9579 1221 or Bronwyn on 9857 9153 or check the website for someone in your area for a lift. The more the merrier! All welcome. Tim Kervin".
