Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture Winner_ Daniel von Sturmer
The winner of the Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture 2017, one of Australia’s most valuable arts prizes, was announced tonight at a special awards ceremony.

The winner of the $60,000 Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture is Daniel von Sturmer for his work Electric Light – a light based installation visible nightly from 8.30pm at Federation Square.

Other award recipients include Emma Anna, winner of the new $10,000 Public Artwork Design Concept Award 2017 – Crafting a City of Literature and Bridie Lunney, winner of the Professional Development Award 2017.
