Art on the Hill and Members' News

Art on the Hill

ART on the HILL Wandin North and more..

Dear fellow sculptors,

Art On The Hill finally was able to get off the ground this year. The exhibition was supported by 21 artists with 54 works, a combination of sculptures and paintings. The gallery looked wonderful and was well presented. We had 100 visitors come through. We had one sale during the exhibition and one post the exhibition.
Mont Delancey

It rained most of the weekend which was not conducive to going out to the country. After some feedback and analysis of the social media it appears that the title Art on the Hill suggested that it was an outdoor exhibition which did not help the event particularly with the bad weather. Also the two day event was deemed to be too short.

Birds in Flight:

During lockdown, in a flat on the Costa Brava, Xavi Bou became even more obsessed with birds. The Spanish photographer had already made a name for himself with his extraordinary pictures, stringing together hundreds of snapshots of birds into collages of movement.
