Yarra Valley Arts is excited to announce the Small Sculpture Exhibition - Regeneration to be held in November 2016, coinciding with the Toolangi Sculpture Trail 2016.
The Toolangi Sculpture Trail 2016 event, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the original international event, features a two week residency for selected Victorian Artists to create sculptures along the existing trail from materials provided by the forest. TST16 includes a comprehensive education program, community sculpture, workshops, lectures and the opportunity to watch artists at work.
Small Sculpture Exhibition - Regeneration is a great opportunity to create environmentally themed sculpture to complement the Toolangi Sculpture Trail event.
5 November – 27 November
Opening: Evening 12 November
Venue: Toolangi Forest Discovery Centre
Applications close: 19 September
Criteria:
· environmental theme - Regeneration
· sculpture base max 50x50cm – height variable
· artist supply clean stand – some shelves available for smaller work (approx 30x30x30cm)
· taller sculptures can be displayed on the floor
· wall sculptures
· entry fee : $20, YVA Creative Members free
· 20% commission on sales
· Drop off – November 4, 11-4pm
