The Association of Sculptors of Victoria is an inclusive, not-for-profit collective of contemporary artists whose purpose is to inspire, stimulate and advance the appreciation, creation, and exploration of three-dimensional art in society.

From the Editor and the President

“Sculpture is an art of the open air. Daylight, sunlight, is necessary to it, and for me, its best setting and complement is nature.” Henry Moore

What a party we had at Carmel's place! In the end, with pleasant comings and goings, we saw about 20 sculptors and partners and some delicious food...

And Carmel has a lovely garden complete with bird feeder

We reviewed the year past and the one to come.

Thank you Carmel - this is a community celebration in a great location.

At the Annual General Meeting we heard that the new website will be “live” early in 2025. In the meantime we uploaded an online membership application form to the existing website. There was a bit of pent up demand for this as we had six new applications in the first six days. Some browsers can’t load the form/page so we have put the form on the newsletter blog site as well - it will work until the new site is active.

In the meantime - welcome to new members - we hope you will find your community and enjoy a creative membership.

So bring on 2025 - exciting, creative and constructive together.

Happy Sculpting Jenny Rickards

“Merry Christmas to you all and your families.
I hope you have peace and happiness which then inspires creativity.
Looking forward to another year filled with 3D art.
All the best. “
