Full Moon Sculpture Walk at McClelland Gallery & Sculpture Park

Phil Price’s work by moonlight at
McClelland Gallery
A unique opportunity to experience our Sculpture Park by moonlight with your family and friends!

We are marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with an event under the moonlight at McClelland. Learn about Indigenous perspectives on the night sky from special guest Dr Duane Hamacher, Associate Professor of Indigenous Astronomy and Science at Melbourne University. Then armed with your torch, embark on a tour of the park and hear about sculptures in our permanent collection from artists including Dean Colls, Louise Paramor and Lisa Roet. Enjoy a gourmet sausage, gluhwein or hot chocolate and then view the full moon through the Mount Burnett Observatory telescopes set up on the Graham Family Terrace. This is an event not to be missed!

Date: Friday 16 August, 6pm - 8:30pm
McClelland Members: Individuals $30; Family $70
Non-members: Individuals $35; Family $80
Children: $10

Tickets include a gourmet sausage (or vegetarian option), gluhwein or hot chocolate, and a sweet to finish.
