Nominations are currently open for the CHASS Australia Distinctive Work Prize.

This prize is for a performance, exhibition, project or specific policy development relating to any/all Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) fields. The more creative and unique the better - a Distinctive Work can be many things - just ask us! Sponsored by Routledge, the finalist will be awarded a $3,500 cash prize and recognition from our esteemed Distinctive Work jury.

Please note there is no nomination fee, and nominations are open to anyone, as long as the nominated work fits within the specified criteria. Please refer to attached posters for details. We accept both self-nominations and nominations on behalf of someone else so feel free to forward this to your relevant contacts or print out the posters to put on your noticeboards.

Nominating is simple! Follow these 5 steps to nominate yourself, a colleague, friend or a member of the community:

- Download and fill out the attached application form or fill out the online form on our website
- Send us the nominated work electronically or via post
- Receive email confirmation of application within 2 - 4 working days
- If sending via regular mail, don’t forget to send us five copies of your application form, the nominated work (including books) and any supporting materials (i.e. reviews, programs, impact assessments) to the address provided below
- Follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook and sit tight until applications close. We will be posting regular updates on our social media channels about our shortlisting process.

The 2018 Artentwine Small Sculpture Prize is an award for free-standing sculpture of up to 90cm in any dimension and is open to national and international entries. The winning artist will then be commissioned to create their work in a larger scale for permanent public installation within the Tamar Valley.

This is a call for Tender rather than an expression of Interest - so sculptors beware!

Towong Shire, in partnership with Murray Arts, extends an Invitation to Tender to a suitably qualified individual, business or organisation to design, produce and install a series of 5 large-scale works of public art.

The artwork series will become a significant offering of The Great River Road; an Upper Murray community initiative that will see the Murray River Road from Bellbridge to Khancoban upgraded to become one of Victoria’s iconic touring routes. The fabrication and installation of the artwork series is expected to be delivered within a total budget of $130,000 - $150,000.
