The Association of Sculptors of Victoria is an inclusive, not-for-profit collective of contemporary artists whose purpose is to inspire,stimulate and advance the appreciation, creation, and exploration of three-dimensional art in society.

ASV Coming Activities

Wednesday 9 June 2010: ASV Committee Meeting: No Meeting at Burwood Council Chambers this month: The Committee will discuss procedures for ASV Exhibitions in general, and then Tesselaar in particular.

Monday 21 June 2010: Group visit to the National Gallery: The June meeting of the ASV will be a visit to the Clemenger Auditorium of the National Gallery of Victoria to listen to the Annual Duldig Lecture on Sculpture. This lecture is jointly presented with the Duldig Studio, and given by Dr Felix Kramer, head of the Stadel Museum's Collection of Nineteenth Century, Modern Painting and Sculpture. The lecture focuses on sculptures from the twentieth century within the Stadel Museum collection by eminent European artists including Rodin, Renoir, Degas and Beckmann. It will be held in on Mon 21 Jun, 6 for 6.30. (enter North entrance, via the Arts centre forecourt). The ASV has 20 tickets - please contact Marija Patterson (m@marijakovacs.com) to reserve a ticket(s) and please be at the NGV International, 180 St Kilda Road, no later than 6pm to collect your ticket(s).
