Held at the Eltham Community and Reception Centre. All works must be for sale.

Please provide your email address for our monthly newsletter which will update you on developments as the show progresses. "

The Eltham Art Show is a project of the Eltham Rotary Club and as such, is a fund raising event. There are prizes to be awarded for the categories. Sponsors will be sought. A Gala opening is held where the prizes will be handed out.

Sculpture Exhibition Proposal

A letter for you to read and consider….
24 January 2024
Proposal
Sculpture Exhibition
‘Grounded’

To: Association of Sculptors of Victoria

From: Trio Art Studio and Gallery
When: 31 August– Sunday 22 September 2024.
Where: 98 Trio Road, Kyneton Vic

My name is Maxine McKee and I own the Trio Art Studio and Gallery in Kyneton Victoria. I have lived in Kyneton for over 30 years and have been involved in the community as a Teacher of Art, Gallery and Art School owner and practising contemporary artists.

Last September I opened my Studio Gallery full time with classes, exhibitions, and a shop selling fine art handmade objects, which include sculpture.

The opening exhibition featured artists such as Anton Hasell (Sculptor), Tony Barnes (Potter), Peter Butterworth (Sculptor) and Chris Flenley (Sculptor) who all have works for sale in the gallery ongoing.

The exhibition of Anton Hasell’s new works was inspired by the ‘Long Now’ project in Texas whereby he made 10 large-scaled bells for the 10,000-year clock. The information is on You Tube if you require more clarity on this project.

I would like to feature the Association of Sculptors of Victoria in an exhibition for our annual Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival (over 40 years), (5 September – 15 September). The exhibition would open every day for three weeks leading up to and after the festival.

Opening Sunday 31 August – Sunday 22 September 2024.

The facility provides space for small and large-scale sculptures.

As part of the festival, I would like to encourage Sculptors to participate in some of the Artist Talk sessions too.

There is no charge for exhibiting, however if there are sales, the Gallery takes 30%

The title reflects the idea that sculpture is for everyone to make or admire.
