As you may be aware entries for the ASV exhibition at the 2019 MIFGS are now open and preparations are in full swing.
Last year was my first year as Coordinator for the show and it was a great experience with working with the ASV and MIFGS teams to ensure all went smoothly. The exhibition was a real success only due to the high quality of the entries and the cooperation and helpfulness of the sculptors. We had 125 entries from 65 artists. Over the 5 days we had over 6000 People’s Choice votes and sold 23 sculptures ( approximately 20%). This year efforts are being made to improve the quality of our presentation ( tent, signage, etc) as well increasing our promotional activity. We are paying particular attention to the Estate section to see how we can attract the right sort of buyers to improve sales.
