From the Exhibition Coordinator

Yvonne Monik "Lite Encounter"
Hi all.

Congratulations on another successful Annual Awards exhibition. We had some very excited award winners and some happy exhibitors who sold their works. It was good to see sculptors getting to know each other and chatting about their sculpting journey and techniques. It was great having a few new members exhibiting.

I was at the exhibition a few times and it was interesting chatting to the visitors. They were amazed at the quality and diversity of the sculptures on exhibition and were enthusiastic in voting for the People’s Choice Award. This made me proud to be part of the Sculpture Association and being able to be part of the Annual Exhibition.

Management of Bourke Place were complimentary about the quality of sculptures on display.

We had a total on 119 sculptures. Each year I feel that the quality of the sculptures gets better and better.

We hope that you have all been inspired and it will be great to see you again next year.

A special thanks to Gillian Govan and all who helped to make this exhibition a success including our generous sponsors.

Happy sculpting.
Yvonne Monik
