This opportunity comes with an understanding that a lot of talking and explaining will be required to establish what the job is and how it will be paid for.. certainly more complex than a "quote":

Possible Commission
My name is Silvio Mannello and I am a teacher and head of the Creative Art faculty at Mackillop Catholic College Werribee. We at the college are looking to commission a piece to be displayed within the grounds of the college. We have a design in mind that stems from a prize winning logo design from one of our students. Size and material have not been determined as yet. We are looking for a range of interested sculptors to quote us and possibly be prepared to talk to students during the process. If anybody could help us or point us in the right direction, I would appreciate it greatly. Obviously, a design brief and relevant images will be discussed with interested sculptors.

Pelican Studios
We have a studio for rent in our space Pelican Studios that is suited for a sculptor. The studio is 24
sqm (3m x 8m), 7m high ceilings and has vehicle access. There is also a forklift, kitchen area and plenty of natural light. The price is $550 per month all inclusive.
Just thought you might know a sculptor in Melbourne that might be interested or perhaps an organisation that we can contact.

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY!

I have been asked to invite sculptors to show their interest in exhibiting in a new sculpture gallery on the Mornington Peninsula. As a lifelong sculptor and founding member of the ASV I believe this Gallery will provide a new body of interest for sculptors to enjoy and profit by.

Please contact Craig Forster to discuss putting your images etc. forward to the gallery.

I have been approached by a local sculptor to exhibit some of his works at our winery next January. I was wondering if any of your members would also like to do so? We have a large lawn for outdoor pieces and only limited inside area. We will promote it through our mailing list and are happy to sell works on behalf of the artists commission free.
