The ASV on Herring Island

The Show looks great and the opening was suitably celebrated as the start of the Herring Island Summer Arts Festival 2014.

We set up from the Burnley depot - Como landing wasn't quite ready for us.

Not only was the ASV the first exhibition of the Festival - we saw the first punt operation of the summer:

The first punt service of this summer come to take us to the start of the Festival

Councillor John Chandler of Stonnington Council launched the festival in fine style and then celebrated with us.

The work has been photographed for the record - there's more on the website but here is a taste: if the plug doesn't work try Picasa web albums,

and of course since it's sculpture you'll need to be there to see it properly - the show closes on 27th January so plan your trip!
