Arts Law rates art prizes for their conditions’ compliance with artists’ moral rights practice. Much of the issue centres on images: it is interesting that Arts Law considers that images of the works being published is mainly to benefit the organisers of the show rather than the artists or the public.

McClelland Gallery+Sculpture Park and Southern Way


is announcing the CALL FOR ENTRIES for the 2015 Biennial Sculpture Commission valued at $250,000. This unique commission forms part of an ongoing dedication to the presentation of public sculpture by McClelland Sculpture Park+Gallery in association with Southern Way. Applications for the 2015 Southern Way McClelland Commission are open to all from 1 May 2013 to 31 July 2013.

The recipient of the Southern Way McClelland Commission will be announced in August 2013 and it is envisaged the work will be completed by the end of April 2015.
