The Association of Sculptors of Victoria is an inclusive, not-for-profit collective of contemporary artists whose purpose is to inspire,stimulate and advance the appreciation, creation, and exploration of three-dimensional art in society.

President’s Message for October

All Committee positions are filled and we look forward to consolidating recent developments during the current year. Members are asked to note the annual Christmas
lunch at the Kervin family home on Saturday 13 November as the last chance to socialise and
exchange views on works and activities before Christmas.

The new Elliot ASV Gallery will be open from Tuesday 23 November, with a rotation of works scheduled for February 2011. Members, please plan works for the next display commencing early March 2011.

Sculpere will be edited by Kathleen Harrington, editor of “Sculpture + the enemies”, every second month from November 2010. Every other month, we will produce a short newsletter basically listing current events.
