The Committee believes that the great effort required by one or two very dedicated people in maintaining and updating this Directory (see www.francistaylor.com/directory ) is just not justified by the level of member use of it, due to the alternative use of search engines like Google. The software programming is efficient and sophisticated, and a lot of effort has been invested in setting up the data base, so it is a pity that more use has not been made of it. With the new web site coming onstream over the next few months the Committee did not believe that the Services and Supplies Directory could be justifiably continued and transferred to the new web site.
