This all means that more people know what we are doing, and keep an eye on our new shows. Visitors mean sales!

A great way of promoting the ASV , your work and the show you are exhibiting in, is sharing our posts. But, did you know we are very happy to promote any information, and any image you provide, to promote you personally, or exhibitions/ open studios you are in??

Social Media is a way to get information out for free, to a wide public. The more interesting our page is, the more people will follow us- so it is good for the ASV to promote ALL our artists. And it’s good for you to promote yourself, your art, or your shows…

Send all your information to: ASVsocialmedia@gmail.com

And… If anyone would have photos of themselves working on something, a portrait, or even (dare I hope) a short video of themselves working, or just their studio?

All these things are super popular in our posts:

Post with artists in them, draw more reactions than ‘only’ artwork.

If you could create a short video on your phone of yourself/ your studio- please send it to me!!

A few videos would be even better. I can cut and edit :-)

The ‘team’ is always looking for support and content- especially during shows. People on the ground who take photos, or people who just like writing a short piece. (As in a few lines)

We can plan and post- so it's not scary !

Aukje and Chris

Sculpere Newsletterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03996530771796375595noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5480332971742048028.post-68883908397090184992024-01-08T05:20:00.003+11:002024-01-08T05:20:51.897+11:00Other Opportunities and Interesting Art
<span style="border: none; Many of you, like myself, are frantically finishing work for the McClelland Gallery Exhibition. The race is on with the deadline on 13th December. Unlike Douglas Adams we can’t appreciate the whooshing sound that deadlines make as they go by… to be late is to miss out in this case. And what an opportunity this coming exhibition will be! Here is the chance to strut our stuff on a prestigious stage and seek out new, appreciative audiences. The opening for our guest speaker’s exhibition at McClelland is coming up on 2nd December… check out the McClelland newsletter for details. John Meade’s exhibition will be a counterpoint to our “art of the object” approach to sculpture.
Jenny Sculptshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10014703754270749981noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5480332971742048028.post-79384532256675906192023-11-23T19:43:00.003+11:002023-11-23T20:16:28.264+11:00Dates for Your Diary

ASV Christmas Gathering 3rd Dec, 12:00 All are welcome!
If you are creative, you could become a little bit Christmassy?RSVP 27th Nov please
Bring drinks and something to share
Partners are welcome too
7 Lamorna Court Eltham 0414996207
Carmel Ritchie

*********************************************

Wednesday 13 December
Close of entries Form + Philosophy @ McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery
An exhibition of our work at McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery.

******************************

Just in case you hadn't noticed we are not participating in the Herring Island Summer Arts Festival 2024

***********************************

Coming January 17 to 28, 2024

ASV will present “Form + Philosophy” - sculpture from living Victorian sculptors in all their diversity of philosophy, media and expression.

https://sculptorsvictoria.asn.au/exhibitions/application_forms.
*************************************

Monday 4 March 2024

Close of entries MIFGS 2024.

And it’s good for you to promote yourself, your art, or your shows…
Jenny Sculptshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10014703754270749981noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5480332971742048028.post-32066757265632353422023-11-23T18:25:00.001+11:002023-11-23T18:25:35.532+11:00Other Opportunities and Interesting Art

Trails Sculpture Prize Portland

entries open 6th Nov/ close 2nd Feb https://trailsartprize.com/entry

Gallery Elysium

A new initiative launched by Sanciolo Art and Design Labs and Gallery Elysium.
